Brewed in the Land of the Sake God
Imanishi Shuzo has brewed in Miwa, Nara since 1660, the only remaining sake brewery in a district home to Japan’s oldest shrine and its enshrined god of sake. The brewery draws on underground water from Mount Miwa for both brewing and irrigating the Yamada Nishiki rice used in this bottling.
A Signature Junmai Ginjo Sake
This Junmai Ginjo sake carries a fresh, soda like ginjo aroma with sharp, clean acidity and juicy umami, giving it a lively character that suits an approachable house sake pour or a broader izakaya style menu. Its clarity and moderate body also make it easy to pair across cuisines, not just Japanese fare.
