Accounting Clerk Position

Job Description
•Record transactions in the correct day book, customer ledger and general ledger
•Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
•Prepare bank deposits
•Enter key data of financial transactions in database
•Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
•Inform management and compile reports/summaries
•Communicate interdepartmentally to ensure payments are made(AP) or received(AR) in a timely manner
•Manage company petty cash
•Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
•Assist in any additional work management may assign
Qualifications
•Proficiency in English and Japanese
•Competency in MS Office and databases
•Experience or a degree in accounting is a plus, but will train the right candidate
•Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP/AR principles
•Valid CA driver’s license to run errands to the bank and Post Office (at least twice monthly)
•Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
•Excellent customer service and communication skills
•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Sales Rep Position

Purchase Assistant Position

Job Description
•Assist purchasing dept. with placing orders and inventory control
•Work with sales team to identify market trends and customer needs
•Work with vendors and suppliers to follow up on orders and requests
•Prepare POS materials such as flyers, sample packs, information sheets, etc.
•Prepare meeting topics and discussion points
•Negotiate offers, pricing, MOQs, etc with vendors
•Data entry and paperwork processing as needed
•HACCP, FSMA experience preferred
•Other duties as needed

•Minimum 1 year purchasing experience or Japanese food experience
